Animal Habitats in ‘Matanglawin’ this Sunday

The country’s Trivia King goes on a different road trip and explores various animal habitats this Sunday (Nov 3) in “Matanglawin.”

Be it on land or under sea, whether hot or cold, animals surely exist in these environments and have adapted in such a way that will truly amaze you.

Out of 50 million marine species in the world, only two million have been named by scientists. That is why Kuya Kim, together with foreign scientists, heads to Batangas to check if there are still unnamed wonders under the country’s very own seas.

But not all that’s mysterious live under the deep because there are other animals that have adapted especially for the harsh and scorching heat. If marine animals can have water to their heart’s content, then animals in the desert such as the desert tortoise and kangaroo rat must be able to bear at least 58 degrees Celsius and make sure they can last long with as little water as possible.

Then again, they aren’t the only animals that have to deal with the harsh temperatures because penguins that live in the other end of the world must endure extremely cold temperatures.

And before Kuya Kim caps off this adventure, he also shares a thing or two about rainforests which the country is really abundant in.

Don’t miss “Matanglawin” this Sunday (Nov 3), 9:30 AM on ABS-CBN.
