Helen Henson is the New Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2010
Helen will represent the Philippines at the 59th Miss Universe pageant happening in August/September, in a venue to be announced soon.
According to the Bb. Pilipinas website, Helen is a Broadcast Journalism graduate with a height of five feet and eight and a half inches tall. The 21-year old kapampangan beauty works as a part-time model, freelance host, and contributor to a travel magazine. She enjoys surfing the net; reading books, magazines, and newspapers; writing poems; and watching films and documentaries. She lists swimming and dancing as her hobbies.
In this year’s Bb. Pilipinas pageant, Helen was awarded Miss Photogenic, Miss Philippine Air Lines and Miss Del Monte Fit ‘N Right.
The Philippines failed to place in the Miss Universe pageant since 1999 when Miriam Quiambao won 1st runner up. Can Helen end the country’s decade-long drought in the prestigious pageant?
