ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” will share this Saturday (August 1) the touching story of a couple who showed that age doesn’t matter when it comes to love. Tanya Garcia will portray the role of a 31-year old woman named Ruby, while Yves Flores will give life to the character of a teenager named Engel, who is 14 years younger. As their friendship deepened, Ruby and Engel fell for each other despite their huge age gap.

Fate, however, puts their relationship to test when Ruby got pregnant and Engel was forced to stop studying to face the responsibilities of being a teenage dad. Witness how Ruby and Engel dealt with different struggles and challenges that strengthened their love for each other, and learn how hard they fought for their relationship despite the disapproval of their family and friends. Also starring in “MMK’s” episode this Saturday are Carla Humphries, Tanya Gomez, Allan Paule, Snooky Serna, Ronnie Quizon, Denise Joaquin, Patrick Sugui, and Jon Lucas. It is under the direction of Nick Olanka and written by Beson Logronio.
