‘Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank’ Grosses P26.28-M in 2 Weeks
The Eugene Domingo starrer emerged as this year’s Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival Best Picture in the New Breed category. After it’s successful screening during the festival, it was picked-up by Star Cinema for a limited commercial run.
Topping the local box-office race last week is the 3D movie “The Smurfs” followed by the second weekend screening of “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.”
Debuting at no. 3 is “Cowboys and Aliens.” “Captain America” settles for fourth, “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” follows at fifth and the fifth week screening of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” occupies the sixth position.
