The beloved Thai BL drama “I Told Sunset About You” has been chosen by netizens as the Asian BL Series of the Year for the 2020 Asian Drama Awards.

We chose Thailand’s “I Told Sunset About You” as one of the five finalists vying for “Asian BL Series of Year” recognition alongside four other series namely: “Gameboys” (Philippines), “2gether the Series” (Thailand), “Like in the Movies” (Philippines), and “Where Your Eyes Linger” (South Korea). The criteria for the selection of finalists were: 30% production quality, 30% entertainment, and 40% viewers impact in the Asian region.

We opened the poll for the public to decide and after a week of voting, “I Told Sunset About You” garnered 4,354,399 votes or 55.96% emerging as the winner. It was neck-and-neck against another Thai BL drama “2gether the Series” which got a total of 3,297,477 votes or 42.37% after the 7-day polling period.
