‘My Extraordinary’ is First Pinoy BL Series to Air on National Television

With the success of Pinoy Boys Love Series “Gameboys,” “Sakristan,” and “Hello Stranger” on YouTube, more BL shows are slated to follow suit. One of them is “My Extraordinary” and it will become the first ever BL series to air on Philippine national television!

“My Extraordinary” stars newcomers Darwin Yu (Shake) & Enzo Santiago (Ken). This 8-episode series is directed by Jolo Atienza, written by Vincent DeJesus and produced by AsterisK Digital Entertainment. It will premiere this August on the all-new TV5 (free TV), Colours (cable), AsterisK Digital Entertainment channel (YouTube) and an international streaming app.

Here is the synopsis of “My Extraordinary”:

Ken is a popular & good-natured university sophomore who meets Shake, a shy freshman & university scholar, through a basketball game brawl. After settling their misunderstandings, the 2 young men are immediately drawn to each other. Although Shake & Ken’s close friends support their blossoming intimate relationship, Sandee (played by Karissa Toliongco), Ken’s childhood friend becomes envious & tells his conservative widowed mother — preempting their romantic love affair. Relationships are strained & tension mounts at home, Shake & Ken eventually find themselves parting ways. In an unfamiliar twist, the remorseful Sandee becomes a bridge & helps reunite Shake & Ken.

A tender story about innocence, friendship, the beauty of awakening desire, acceptance and how time heals all wounds, “My Extraordinary” is airing soon on TV5.

  1. Birthday gift for my wife. She was over joyed with the watch. It looks beautiful on her wrist.
