July 27 was the most dreaded day for news anchor Paolo Bediones because the sex video he thought he destroyed a long time ago came out of nowhere and circulated all over the internet instantly making him the no. 1 trending topic on the microblogging site Twiter.
Although the TV host did not release an official statement confirming or denying that it was him on the video, his mother studio TV5 released a statement on Sunday afternoon saying the network “firmly express their support on their news anchor” amid the video scandal.
Paolo took to Twitter/Instagram on Monday his gratitude to friends and co-workers for their support while he’s facing the most difficult time of his almost 2 decades-long career:
Getting ready for Aksyon Tonite. I am truly blessed to have a family like mine. Solid friends around… http://t.co/Ah3kxAsRV9
