Big Hit Releases GFRIEND’s MV for ‘Apple’

Source Music’s girl group GFRIEND released the music video for their comeback single “Apple” which is part of their ninth EP “Song of the Sirens.” It was released by Big Hit Entertainment because Source Music is one of the music companies acquired by the BTS label in 2019.

GFRIEND is composed of Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji and just like BTS, they managed to become successful in their craft despite coming from a small company in 2015 when they debuted. As a testament to their growing popularity, the girls already released 3 studio albums, 1 compilation album, 1 reissue, and 9 EPs all in all. And among the 9 EPs, they scored 4 numbers one in South Korea’s music charts namely “The Awakening” (2017), “Time for the Moon Night” (2018), “Fever Season” (2019) and “Labyrinth” (their first EP released by Big Hit Entertainment last February).
