Gladys Reyes and Sharlene San Pedro play a mother and daughter who take matters to court after being rumored to be witches and blamed for the deaths and odd occurrences in the neighborhood, this Saturday (Nov 25) in “Ipaglaban Mo.”

After her husband’s death, Cristy (Gladys) and daughter Ria (Sharlene) decided to start a new life in Manila. To provide for Ria’s education, Cristy sold herbal medicines and offered home service massages. The first few months of their stay went well until their neighbors began circulating absurd lies about them being hexers.

More people were convinced that the rumors were true when Jill (Vivoree Esclito), a young girl who bullied Ria in school, suddenly got sick. Cristy again became talk of the town and was blamed for other sudden deaths in the neighborhood.

How will Cristy clear her name from all the allegations?
