ABS-CBN was hailed Most Development-Oriented TV Station while GMA News TV was Highly Commended at the 2013 Gandingan Awards, the 7th UPLB Isko't Iska's Broadcast Choice Awards, which was held on January 26, 2013 at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB).

ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries dominated this year’s Gandingan Awards by bagging 21 trophies including Most Development-Oriented Station and Best AM Station for DZMM.

GMA-7 and its subsidiaries won 13 trophies including Highly Commended TV Station for GMA News TV and Best FM Station for Barangay LS.

TV5 and its subsidiaries were snubbed while UNTV won a couple of awards.
