‘The Mistress,’ ‘Kimmy Dora 2’ Among Kristn’s Most Disappointing Movies of 2012

Two local box-office hits of 2012--"The Mistress" and "Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme"--are listed on's Top 10 Most Disappointing Movies of the Year.


“The Mistress,” 2012’s highest-grossing Filipino movie, was cited by as a romantic drama which “failed at exploring the very premise that made it even relatively exciting.” It was ranked at no. 8 in the list mostly comprised by Hollywood films.

The other Filipino movie in the “disappointing” list is the Eugene Domingo-starrer “Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme,” also one of 2012’s top-grossers. The Kristn team deemed that the comedy movie failed to live up to the original.
