‘The Mistress’ Surpasses P100-M Mark at the Box Office in 5 Days

"The Mistress" just became the fourth film released by Star Cinema this year to surpass the P100-million mark at the box office!

As reported on “The Buzz” this afternoon, September 16, the romantic drama “The Mistress” which celebrates the 10th year anniversary of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo as a love team, has just hit P100 million in tickets sales.

Effective today, the film’s 5th day of showing, the Olivia Lamasan movie became the fourth film released by Star Cinema to surpass the box-office mark following “UnOfficially Yours” (P157-M), “Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme” (P133.33-M), and “The Healing” (P104.6-M).

It was earlier reported that the film had a first day gross of P25 million last Wednesday breaking the record of “Praybeyt Benjamin” last year which was P23.6 million.
