‘The Mistress’ is 1st Pinoy Film in 2012 to Cross the P200-Million Mark at the Box Office

"The Mistress" is now the highest-grossing Pinoy movie for 2012 as it surpassed the P200 million mark at the box office on its 2nd week of screening.

Star Cinema’s ad prom director Roxy Liquigan has tweeted recently that the romantic drama movie “The Misstress” starring Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz has already raked-in “P200 million plus” at the box office in two weeks.

This makes the Olivia Lamasan-film the highest-grossing Pinoy movie for 2012 and the 4th to cross the P200-million mark ever after “You Changed My Life” (P225.21 million), “No Other Woman” (278.39 million) and “The Unkabogable: Praybeyt Benjamin (P331.61 million).”
