LA Galaxy dominated the friendly match against the Philippine Azkals Saturday night, December 3, at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

LA Galaxy, led by football superstar David Beckham dominated the game with a score of 6 against the Philippine Azkals’ only 1 goal.

Giving the visitors its first goal is David Beckham himself. It was followed by another goal by Mike MaGee giving the Galaxy a 2-0 lead in the 38th minute.

Before the first half ended, Phil Younghusband scored a goal for the Philippine Azkals to the delight of the crowd.

But during the second half, LA Galaxy showed the Filipinos why they are the current Major League Soccer Cup champions by scoring 4 more goals against 0 from the Philippine team. Adam Cristman scored twice, and Robbie Keane and Greg Belhalter (penalty kick) scored 1 goal each for the LA Galaxy.

The LA Galaxy vs Azkals friendly match dubbed as “The Dream Cup” was broadcast live by Studio 23 and Balls HD (SkyCable ch. 167) from the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
