‘Praybeyt Benjamin’ Hits P318.49-M in 3 Weeks, Now the Highest-Grossing Pinoy Film Ever!
Praybeyt Benjamin is a co-production of Star Cinema and Viva Films and stars Vice Ganda in his second title role on the big screen. It also stars Derek Ramsay under the direction of Wenn Deramas of the “Tanging Ina” fame.
On it’s third week of screening, Praybeyt Benjamin has broken the record of “No Other Woman” which had a box-office gross of P276.8-M in 5 Weeks. The comedy movie also became the first Pinoy film ever to cross the P300 million barrier making it the box-office hit of the century!
Praybeyt Benjamin is now the second biggest movie in the Philippines for 2011 beating “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” which dropped to 3rd. It’s now set to break the box-office record of this year’s no. 1 movie–Transformers: Dark of Moon–which is P415.74-M.
