Bagyong Mina PAGASA Weather Update for August 28

Bagyong “Mina” has accelerated slightly and still continues to move North Northwestward today, August 28, according to the latest bulletin of Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

At 10:00 am this morning, the eye of Typhoon “Mina” was located at 60 km West of Basco, Batanes with maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph.

Babuyan Group of Islands
Calayan Group of Islands
Ilocos Norte

Signal No. 1 (45-60 kph winds):
Cagayan
Apayao
Abra
Ilocos Sur

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), as of Today, 7 people are dead while 6 are missing due to Typhoon Mina.
