Justin Bieber drove the crowd crazy during his concert at the SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds as he performs his greatest hits like “Baby,” “One Time,” “Never Let You Go,” “U Smile,” “Somebody to Love,” and “One Less Lonely Girl,” that’s according to some celebrities who were able to watch the concert with their kids.
Ces Drilon tweeted that many parents complained about their damaged eardrums. But it’s not from Bieber’s singing but from shrieking fans.
A certain @bigbadbawang tweeted that the concert lasted for only one hour because Bieber was sick.
Justin Bieber confirmed this on Twitter himself. Right after the concert, he posted the following:
“that show was great but tough. real sick. time to rest. #muchlove #wegohard”
“the streets of Manila are filled…this is crazy. great energy. sick or not that show went hard!! #myworldtour”
Justin Bieber will not be able to complete a full one day stay in Manila because he is due to leave at 10:10 am tomorrow bound for Hong Kong. He arrived at the NAIA around 2:00 pm yesterday, so that’s only 20 hours if you will do the math.
So his next concert will be this Friday at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong.
That’s the great Bieber in white wearing shades, as snapped by Kat de Castro of Trip na Trip. According to her, it was a good show but she can’t say the same about the venue, though. She said some of the concert marshalls are squirting water out of a water gun at them to keep the audience cool and it really pissed her off. O di ba parang tear gas lang just to contain the fans who are out of control. Only here in the Philippines!
The concert experience will perhaps improve next year with the construction of The SM Arena. According to reports, it’s an enclosed and fully air-conditioned stadium that can accommodate at least 16,000 people. So no more marshalls squirting water by then.
Prior to the concert, Justin Bieber graced the press conference held at the SM Mall of Asia’s IMAX theater. Here’s a couple of snaps as retweeted by Julius Babao:
