Julius Babao Leads ‘Krusada’ Versus Hunger
Two out of ten Filipino families have no food to eat every day due to poverty. The children from these families even suffer more as they struggle in school because of hunger.
This is one of the biting realities Filipinos face every day, and one that every Filipino should also help alleviate, if not eradicate.
This Thursday (Jan 27) on “Krusada,” Julius Babao will show how any one from the government, to the private and public sectors can take part in addressing the worsening problem of hunger and malnutrition in the Philippines.
Babao, in his own capacity, has supported the Food Donation Act and other school-based nutrition programs that aim to feed nutritious food to students and also to avoid the waste of food.
Join him as he discovers the steps the government is taking to curb hunger, and how significant the role being played by the private sector and the public in this crusade. Individuals can help by just not wasting food and by sharing excess food items to the needy.
Listen, take part and be one with Julius Babao’s crusade because it takes more than words to make a stand. Watch “Krusada” this Thursday (Jan 27) after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.
