Since its debut last March 28, the goal of Party Pilipinas is to beat its rival program ASAP XV in Mega Manila. Last Sunday (May 16), they finally did it.

Their 7th episode which was held at the Camsur Watersports Complex registered a rating 12.3% beating ASAP XV‘s 11.4%. Technically, this is the first time that Party Pilipinas bested ASAP XV. However, last May 2, Party Pilipinas rated higher than ASAP XV because its timeslot was pre-empted by the boxing special Mayweather vs. Mosley: Who R U Picking? It was pitted against Gimik 2010 that time and not with the kapamilya musical variety show.
