Michael Manansala Wins Mister International Philippines 2009

Michael Manansala, a 23 years old freelance model, is declared the winner of Mister International Philippines 2009.

Michael Manansala stands 6’2″, one of the tallest among the 15 candidates. He hails from Pampanga and he dreams of becoming an actor someday.

Michael won P50,000.00 in cash and the privilege to represent the country in the upcoming Mister International 2009 pageant to be held later this year in Taiwan.

It is interesting to note that Michael Manansala was only a replacement for candidate no. 16, Francis Soo, whose grandmother in Davao has died.

Ryan Roberts was supposed to be the original delegate of the Philippines in Mister International 2008 in Taiwan but because he got sick during the pageant, he was replaced by 1st runner up Jeff Surio. Jeff was among the semi-finalists of Mister International 2008.

Mister International Philippines 2009 was held last Wednesday night (October 14, 2009) at the A Venue Mall in Makati City.
