GMA's koreanovela Coffee Prince is getting hotter and hotter as it climbed from no. 7 last Tuesday to no. 3 last Wednesday and peaked to no. 2 last Thursday in the primetime block with a whopping 34.4 percent. Considering it's late timeslot (about 10:20 to 11:00 p.m.), the 34.4 percent that it registered that placed it second to Marimar was definitely a remarkable feat. The reason for its increasing rating might be because the story is heading towards the climax, as the heroine who disguises herself as a guy to work in a coffeeshop is about to admit her romantic feelings towards her boss (yes folks, i'm an avid follower hehehe - chris). On the other hand, Lastikman is also climbing in the primetime block as it reached the 30 percent barrier last Thursday night with 30.4% placing 4th overall. This could be a good sign for ABS-CBN to break GMA's domination in the local primetime television specially this coming Monday when 3 new and highly-publicized shows, Kung Fu Kids, Palos and Lobo, are set to hold its premiere episode. May makaka-agaw na kaya sa Marimar bilang no. 1 tv program ng bansa for almost 6 months now? Abangan.
