It’s Showtime Introduces New Game Segment ‘Walang Tunugan’

Celebrities will take on different fun challenges without making a sound in “It’s Showtime’s” newest game segment “Walang Tunugan,” which debuted on Monday (December 14).

In the game, two celebrity players will try to complete a challenge while producing the least amount of noise or sound possible – which will be measured by a decibel meter.

To introduce the game to viewers, hosts Vhong Navarro and Kim Chiu faced off in opening a can of soft drinks while staying as quiet as possible.

Kim emerged as the winner of the game then advanced to the jackpot round, which she had to be accomplished in total silence. Wearing a jacket filled with spikes, Kim tried – but failed – to get through a balloon tunnel without popping a single balloon.

In each episode, online viewers can also get a chance to win the P5,000 prize if they correctly guess which celebrity player will advance to the jackpot round. To join, netizens need to tweet or comment on Facebook the name of the celebrity player along with the show’s official hashtag of the day.

Because Kim failed to complete the task, the cash prize will be added to the accumulated jackpot prize money in the next episode.

Join in the fun in “It’s Showtime” from Mondays to Saturdays on A2Z channel on digital and analog broadcast. Digital TV box users can scan and look for A2Z channel in Metro Manila and in some parts of Cavite, Laguna, Quezon, Rizal, Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, and Pampanga.

Viewers can also catch the show on Kapamilya Channel on cable and satellite TV (SKYchannel 8 on SD and channel 167 on HD, Cablelink channel 8, G Sat Direct TV channel 22, and most cable operator-members under Philippine Cable and Telecommunications Association), on Kapamilya Online Live daily on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, and on the iWantTFC app (iOs and Android) and on iwanttfc.com. Viewers outside of the Philippines can also catch it on The Filipino Channel on cable and IPTV.
