SEVENTEEN Caps ‘Ode to You’ World Tour with a Cover Story in Billboard Korea

Although the K-pop boyband SEVENTEEN was not able to complete their “Ode to You” World Tour because of the Corona Virus, their appearance in the latest issue of Billboard Korea shows that they are still one of the hottest boy groups across the globe. They kicked off their world tour in Seoul last August 30, 2019 and staged their last in Manila, Philippines, on February 8 earlier this year. They were able to stage sold-out concerts in 8 countries including 7 cities in the US alone. That’s a total of 24 shows before the cancellation of their concerts in Malaysia, France, Taiwan, Spain, and Germany because of the threat of COVID-19. Their last show, which was at the SM MOA Arena in Pasay City, Filipino carats were in full attendance despite almost all of them are wearing face masks already at that time.

Billboard magazine released two covers in their third volume in South Korea. The first one features the self-producing group in their fun mode, wearing vibrant colors, exuding their bubbly selves. On the second cover, the boys showed a more mature and semi-serious stance in black and white, perhaps because of the crisis the world is currently experiencing.
