Filipino singer Jej Vinson didn’t get the public votes but was saved by his judge/mentor Kelly Clarkson during the deliberations/results for the playoffs (Top 24) on “The Voice.” Many believe he is the first Asian to get into the Top 12/Top13 of the said reality singing competition.

Jej is actually the most popular contestant online as his performance videos on YouTube are way above the rest when it comes to views. However, the American vote did not favor him which goes to show that most of the views he got were from outside the US (he is currently trending on YouTube Philippines as of this posting).

Jej will compete live in the Top 13
