Catriona’s quest for the Philippine’s fourth Miss Universe title was aired live from Muang Thong Thani, Thailand, last December 17 at 8 am on ABS-CBN and via free livestreaming on the ABS-CBN Live channel on ABS-CBN’s streaming service iWant.

Dressed in a fiery red gown that stood out in a line-up of women mostly in silver-colored gowns, Gray bested 93 women from around the world, occasionally stealing the show with her signature “Lava Walk.” The crowd in Thailand was so enamored by her stunning red gown that drew inspiration from the Mayon Volcano from her home province of Albay.

Comedian Steve Harvey and Model Ashley Graham hosted the pageant as TV personality Carson Kressley and runway coach Lu Sierra provided the commentary throughout the event with R&B superstar Ne-Yo throwing everyone back to the early 2000s with his single “Ms. Independent.”
