‘Oyayi’ Wins Best Children and Youth Program in the 39th Catholic Mass Media Awards

Oyayi, CBN Asia’s children’s TV program produced in partnership with the National Council for Children’s Television, was awarded Best Children and Youth Program at the 39th Catholic Mass Media Awards held Wednesday, October 25, 2017.

Oyayi is based on a children’s storybook written by Fernando Rosal Gonzalez and features a bunch of cute and perky endangered-species-friends who are on a mission to protect their island home. Oyayi aims to promote, cultivate, and rekindle timeless lessons such as love for family, appreciation for culture and arts, and preservation and love for the environment.

“This CMMA award encourages us to continue in our desire in producing programs for children to maximize their potential,” shared CBN Asia’s EVP-COO and Oyayi’s Director, Robert John Tan.
