The name Nam Joo Hyuk is fast becoming a household name in the Philippines like Lee Min Ho and Gong Yoo because his Koreanovela “Weightlifting Fairy” on ABS-CBN is a TV ratings hit. 

In the series, the Korean heartthrob plays a troubled swimmer who will fall in love with the dysfunctional weightlifter Kim Bok Joo.
