Filipina singer Janice Buco, known in Vietnam as Janice Phuong, won the reality-based singing competition “Vietnam Idol” on Friday, September 30, 2016.

The Hanoi-based Filipina took home a cash prize of 600 million Vietnamese dong equivalent to 1.2 million Philippine peso.

Janice sang her winner’s single “Hello Vietnam” during the final episode of the competition.
