Joseph Marco Portrays a Person with Disability Charged with Rape and Murder in ‘Ipaglaban Mo’

ABS-CBN’s hit legal drama “Ipaglaban Mo” takes on the case of a man with disabilities who raped and murdered his victim this Saturday (May 14).

Joseph Marco

Tonyo (Joseph Marco) is blind in his left eye and has an amputated left arm. He lives near the home of his former live-in partner, widow Celia (Helga Krapf) who has two children, Angel (Dexie Diaz) and Aries (JC Mantala).

Having built a strong relationship with the family, Tonyo is even treated by Celia’s children like their second father.

Until one day, Tonyo calls on Angel to come to his house. Unknown to her, Tonyo has been sexually repressed for a long time and saw this as an opportunity to release his frustrations. Sadly, the encounter not only resulted in a case of rape but of also murder.

Don’t miss the “Tiwala” episode of “Ipaglaban Mo,” directed by Jerry Lopez-Sineneng this Saturday (May 14) after “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN or ABS-CBN HD (SkyCable ch 167). Catch up via iwantv.com.ph or skyondemand.com.ph for Sky subscribers.
