The Road to Spain begins this February 17 with the very first episode of Kwentong Gilas, the sports documentary that gives us the real drama behind the lives of your favorite Gilas Pilipinas player. The premiere episode on Monday at 8PM will throw viewers back to the FIBA Asia Championship that happened during the 11 days in August.

The 30-minute weekly episode will be narrated by Freddie Webb.

“This is the very first time that Kapatid viewers will be given the real life drama of Gilas Pilipinas – their journey – the struggle and triumph – that led to the success of the team. We will be able to tell the full story and provide an in-depth perspective of their practice sessions, game preparation, and most especially their personal lives,” said Chot Reyes, Head of Sports5.

Kwentong Gilas will surely be an interesting series to follow as the road to glory in Spain awaits the Philippines.
