On November 8, 2013, Barangay Candahug in Tacloban City, Leyte experienced the fury of super typhoon Yolanda. Around 150 villagers out of Candahug’s population of 2,000 were killed. One of them was John Earl Capacio, a member of the Candahug Choir.
