Celebrities Share Thoughts on Fortune Telling in ‘Hiwaga’

Kapamilya stars share their take on fortune telling to Atom Araullo this Friday (Aug 23), who probes why Filipinos are so fascinated by getting their futures told in “Hiwaga.”

Sam Milby and Robi Domingo may not believe too much in fortune telling too much but they have had experiences that made them think twice on whether it’s real or just a mere coincidence.

“Someone told me before that I’ll get into an accident and that same year, it did happen. My van overturned,” Sam shared.

“The fortune teller said that in the near future I will hold a microphone and that is actually what I am doing now. I am now a TV host,” Robi recounted.

But not all celebrities believe in what fortunetellers say like Vice Ganda, Kim Chiu, and Jericho Rosales who revealed that they are not really fans of “hula.”

“I don’t want to know what awaits me in the future because I just want to live in the now,” according to Vice.

Atom probes further and talks to Andy Tan, a card reader who claimed to have foreseen Mayor Joseph Estrada’s return to politics in 2013, and a fortuneteller who has seen disasters such as typhoons way before it happened.

Can these predictions really come true? Will Atom himself have less doubt once he learns what the psychics see for him?

Don’t miss “Hiwaga” this Friday (Aug 23), 4:15 PM on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold.
