After 10 years since the show’s finale, the guys will give viewers insights on the highlights, and low points of the show that ran for almost four years. As they look back and reminisce their experiences on and off-camera, they will recapture their happiest moments, and the biggest trials that they encountered as a group.
The comedic trio composed of the late Rico Yan, Marvin, and Dominic has spurred tight friendships after being cast in the noontime show, “Magandang Tanghali Bayan”, and later on in the sitcom loved by men and women of all ages, “Whattamen.” With Rico’s upcoming death anniversary, Dominic and Marvin will look back during their time as matinee idols and remember the shock and pain of Rico’s untimely demise.
Directed by veteran comedy director John-D Lazatin, the sitcom which ran from 2001 to 2004, shows the riotous lives of Castro (Rico), Matti (Marvin) and Ernest (Dominic) as they live under one roof along with their aunt Vicky (Ai Ai delas Alas). “Whattamen” airs on Jeepney TV every Tuesday, from 7:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
“Whattamen: Reunited” will air on March 24, 9 p.m-11 p.m on Jeepney TV, which brings back Kapamilya shows close to the hearts of the Filipino TV audience.
The channel will also bring the most-anticipated drama series “May Bukas Pa” starred by Kapamilya child wonder, Zaijan Jaranilla.
It is available on SkyCable Channel 69 and other leading cable operators nationwide. Starting from April 1, the channel of Jeepney TV will change from channel 69 to channel 9. Jeepney TV is also available on Studio 23 on Mondays to Fridays, 11 a.m to 12 noon.
