Max Collins is Dingdong Dantes’ New Leading Lady Replacing Kylie Padilla
Dingdong Dantes and Kylie Padilla are supposed to star in the teleserye “Haram.” It was shelved by GMA Network because of its sensitive theme about Islam. The concept was later replaced, and it’s now titled “Pahiram ng Sandali.”
Kylie Padilla, however, backed-out from the project due to the “maturity” of the role she’s supposed to take.
Enter Max Collins, a former Star Magic talent who previously appeared in ABS-CBN shows like “Rosalka,” “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash of 2012,” and “Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Alyna.”
Her first project when she transferred to GMA-7 was the Rocco Nacino-Kylie Padilla starrer, “The Good Daughter.”
Meanwhile, “Pahiram ng Sandali” will also highlight the return of Christopher de Leon and Lorna Tolentino in the Kapuso Network. We’ve seen de Leon in the ABS-CBN teleseryes “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” and “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo” while Tolentino’s last TV projects were “Artista Academy” and “Third Eye” on TV5.
“Pahiram ng Sandali” has an interesting premise. It’s about a mother (Lorna Tolentino) and her daughter (Max Collins) who fall in love with the same man (Dingdong Dantes).
Other cast-members include Alessandra de Rossi, Sandy Andolong and Mark Gil.
“Pahiram ng Sandali” is slated to premiere on November 26 under the GMA Telebabad block.
