Head writer Denoy Punio told GMA News Online that this soap, which was her original concept, is the most intense storyline that she has ever written in her career.

She shared, “Magtanong ka sa mag-asawang nag-aaway kung gaano ka-intense ang feeling na nag-aaway kayo and even if you love each other, you still can’t make it work.

“That’s how intense this show is.

“Honestly na-post ko doon sa akin FB that ang dami ko na nagawa, but really this one is pinakamabigat, pinakaminahal ko, kasi ang dami ko talagang hugot.”

2. All-star cast

GMA Network also assembled the best-of-the-best to be part of this primetime soap spearheaded by Carla Abellana, Rocco Nacino, and Max Collins.

What’s more, To Have And To Hold will feature some of the best talents known for their versatility in portraying roles like Roi Vinzon, Bing Pimentel, Gilleth Sandico, Valeen Montenegro, and Ina Feleo.

3. Carla and Rafael’s onscreen reunion

This primetime soap will also mark the reunion of Carla Abellana with her former Because of You leading man Rafael Rosell.

Early this year, Because of You–which aired in 2015–bagged the Most Favorite Foreign Drama award in the 7th Face Of The Year Awards in Vietnam.

Carla and Rafael were also chosen as the Most Favorite Foreign Actress and Most Favorite Foreign Actor, respectively for their roles in the primetime soap.

4. Luis and Athena’s first team up

Kapuso fans are eager to see the onscreen chemistry between Athena Madrid and Luis Hontiveros as a new loveteam. This is also their biggest primetime series to date.

The two will portray Grace and Daryl and for Athena, this project means a lot to her since she bagged the role eventhough she was suffering from COVID-19 during the audition.
