Mindanao Protégés starred in a short film titled "Aba, Ginoong Maria" with no less than the Diamond Star, Maricel Soriano.

Phillip Salvador‘s protégés–Ruru Madrid, David John Llanas and Steffi Pacheco–showcased their acting skills alongside the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano via the short film “Aba, Ginoong Maria” which was written by Palanca awardee Floy Quintos and directed by Cannes Filmfest awardee Brillante Mendoza.
