PR Asia Worldwide, the company that brought British actor Ed Westwick and Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer to Manila to endorse a local clothing brand, said in its Twitter account that Hollywood star Zac Efron is next in line.

Publicist Joyce Ramirez posted a photo of herself with Zac Efron wearing the Penshoppe jacket that Mario Maurer popularized last year.

She tweeted:

“With the awesome @ZacEfron who’s buzzin’ to hang out in the Philippines! Zefron is sending out his love to all of you.”

“Guess WHO loves The Philippines? Be proud Pinoys! He can’t wait to meet all of you.”

Zac Efron, by the way, is the former boyfriend of Filipino-American actress Vanessa Hudgens. Their romance blossomed while filming the Disney telemovie “High School Musical.”

Now that Efron is about to ink the deal with Penshoppe (hope he will), the ball is now in rival brand Bench’s court.
