Dubbed as the Bruno Mars of the Philippines, “Pilipinas Got Talent” semi-finalist Buildex Pagales made it through the grand finals of the number one talent-reality show in the country after the judges chose him over fellow semi-finalist and balladeer heartthrob Kenny Padalla. As early as audition week, Buildex has been regarded as the Pinoy Bruno Mars after he sang various renditions of the internation artist’s hit songs.
He will be joined by the all-girl tween singing group DJP Trio in the grand finals, after they garnered the highest number of text votes. Will one of them be proclaimed the next PGT grand winner?
Last Saturday, PGT scored a national TV rating of 25.7% versus rival shows “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” (17.6%) and “Talentadong Pinoy” (9.1%). It also ruled last Sunday when the show rated at 26% nationally versus “Mel & Joey” (14.8%), according to Kantar Media/TNS. This Saturday (May 28), who among semi-finalists Joy’s Diva, Leonel Enopia at Elizabeth Dazo, Kapidamu Band, Suwahib Samplidad, Larvae, and Marcelito Pomoy will make to to the finals?
