"From Prada to Nada" is an upcoming romantic comedy dubbed as the modern "Latina" version of Jane Austen's novel "Sense and Sensibility."

From Prada to Nada was said to be conceived from Jane Austen‘s Sense and Sensibility. The screen play was adapted by Luis Alfaro, Craig Fernandez and Fina Torres to be a Latina version of the English novel. It is helmed by Angel Garcia.

This film is about two sisters that found out after the death of their father they were in fact not rich but poor, which this turn of events forced them to move in with an alienated aunt.

It stars mostly Latin-American actors including April Bowlby, Camilla Belle, Alexa Vega, Wilmer Valderrama, Nicholas D’Agosto, Kuno Becker, Alexis Ayala and Adriana Barraza.

“From Prada to Nada” hits theaters on January 28, 2011.
