During the preliminary competition yesterday which was aired via live streaming on Ustream.tv, we picked our favorite 15 contestants in the swimsuit category.

The Top 3 in no particular order are:

Miss Dominican Republic

Miss Ukraine

Miss Venezuela

Other candidates who did best in the swimsuit competition are Puerto Rico, Croatia, Philippines, Panama, The Netherlands, Mexico, Ireland, Haiti, France, Czech Republic, Brazil and Colombia.

(In this bunch, more than half are crowd favorites. Croatia, Panama, The Netherlands, Haiti, Czech Republic and Ukraine are all under the radar until the prelims.)

Strong alternates in the swimsuit competition are Australia, USA, Trinidad and Tobago, Albania and Jamaica.
