The Miss Universe 2010 National Costume competition took place at a ballroom at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, August 16.

My money goes to Miss Venezuela. Her costume is called “Alma Solar” by designer Hugo Espina and was said to be inspired by a popular metal and glass structure in Caracas, Venezuela called “Abra Solar.”

The winner will be announced during the live telecast.

Take note that the National Costume competition has no bearing in the selection of the semi-finalists.
