Hero TV Goes Full Blast on Sports Anime

Hero TV, the first and only all-Tagalog-dubbed anime channel in the country, turns up the heat this August as the most amazing sports anime slam your way into TV screens alongside most well-loved, all-time favorite animated series!

In line with the launch of its “I Am Hero” advocacy campaign, Hero TV truly rises above the average and continues to promote the celebration of adventure and creativity that leads its viewers to discover the “hero within” themselves.

Learn and love boxing together with Ippo in Knockout (Hajime No Ippo) as he begins to explore the boxing world and become a champion from just being a timid high school guy that once saved from being bullied by a boxer named Takamura. Fascinated by Takamura’s skills, Ippo begins to learn boxing, soon finding love for the sport and a drive to challenge the boxing world. Starting August 23, catch Knockout on Weekdays at 7am, 1:30pm, 7pm and 10:30pm.

If boxing is not your thing, then why not watch this high-flying basketball series Buzzer Beater. Get to know Hideyoshi, a homeless boy living in New York in the near future, who survives by hustling other kids in basketball games became pro player with a very unique goal—to beat the physically superior alien players and bring the championship back home to Earth by making the first all-human team to compete in the Space League. Premiering on August 20, Buzzer Beater airs Monday to Friday at 7:30pm, 2:30pm, 10pm and 1am.
