DZMM Teleradyo Invades the Middle East, Australia and Europe

The country's leading news and information cable TV channel DZMM TeleRadyo makes a big leap to the global arena in its quest to deliver the first in news and public service to Filipinos worldwide.

DZMM TeleRadyo is now being broadcast in the Middle East and Australia as part of the package offered by TFC, The Filipino Channel, to Filipinos over there. It will also be available in Europe starting June 15.

TFC has long been offering DZMM in its audio format abroad, but with the advent of DZMM TeleRadyo, global Filipinos will now be able to see their favorite anchors and view headlines, news updates, weather reports, and public service announcements.

More importantly, they will also be able to see the first video footage of the biggest and most breaking news in the Philippines from the station’s trusted Radyo Patrol Reporters.

ABS-CBN Manila Radio Division Head Peter Musngi, who recently judged in the prestigious New York Festivals Radio Programming & Promotion Awards, said this new development marks another feat for the multi-awarded radio station.

So far this year, DZMM has led in both radio and cable TV ratings to be the concurrent number one radio station and cable news channel in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, in line with its international expansion, DZMM beefed up its programs to also address the needs of global Pinoys. DZMM’s 18-year old flagship public service program “Aksyon Ngayon Global Patrol” with Kaye Dacer, Fr. Tito Caluag, and Zaldy Naguit now airs reports and concerns from ABS-CBN Global News Bureaus in North America, Middle East, Europe, and Australia.

“Usapang de Campanilla” with Lynda Jumilla, Alvin Echico, Atty. Danny Concepcion and Atty. Claire Castro, and “Magandang Gabi Dok,” with Niña Corpuz will also include legal or health queries from listeners abroad.

The whole team of DZMM is also preparing for its 24th anniversary celebration this July, which will be marked by various public service efforts such as the launch of a mobile library and clinic for children that will tour barangays nationwide.

Stay tuned to DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 on AM radio and DZMM TeleRadyo on SKYCABLE channel 26. Also catch DZMM at www.dzmm.com.ph or http://tfcnow.abs-cbn.com.
