Kung Fu Kids Climbs to No. 4 on Thursday Primetime

After snatching Lobo's 6th position on Wednesday night, Kung Fu Kids climbed to no. 4 in the primetime race last night, January 31, 2008, becoming the first new ABS-CBN show to penetrate the elusive top 5 which is frequently dominated by GMA programs. The kiddie action series registered 28.1 percent, its highest rating so far. In consequence, Zaido fell to 7th position and was even beaten by Lobo which retained its 6th position last night. The last episode of Magpakailanman starring Richard Gutierrez (which is a replay) registered a respectable 21 percent considering it's late night timeslot. Starting next Thursday, Magpakailanman will be replaced by the new horror-anthology ESP starring Iza Calzado.
