Britney Spears’ attorney, Laura Wasser has confirmed that the pop star’s marriage with her former backup dancer, Kevin Federline officially ended Monday.

Court Commissioner Scott Gordon was the one who signed the orders for dissolution of marriage, an alimony agreement and child custody. According to Wasser, the alimony agreement will not be made public unless there is an enforcement issue. The child custody order on the other hand has been tentatively sealed, pending an Aug. 14 hearing.

Spears, 25 and Federline, 29 was married on October 6, 2004, eight months after Britney’s first marriage to her childhood friend Jason Alexander was annulled. The couple had two sons, 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James. Spears filed for divorce from Federline last November 7, 2006 citing irreconcilable differences.
