Failure to Launch is a romantic comedy with a very common formula for such genre yet still able to deliver some occasional laughs and romance in the end. Starring the current “Sexiest Man Alive” Matthew McConaughey and “Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker, this date movie is for singles at the age of thirthysomething bracket.    

Failure to Launch is about a 35 year-old man who still lives with his parents falls in love with the woman of his dreams and begins to suspect she has been hired by his parents as a way to get him out of the house.

Although Sarah Jessica Parker’s performance in this movie didn’t surpassed her previous stint in “The Family Stone” and the acting collaboration with all of the cast is a little weird, the movie took off in the end and didn’t lived up to its title.
