Robert Labayen Shares the Story Behind Iconic ABS-CBN Christmas Station IDs in ‘Tao Po’

Experience the ultimate Filipino Christmas nostalgia as reporter Anjo Bagaoisan jams with ABS-CBN head of Creative Communication Management Robert Labayen, the man behind popular ABS-CBN Christmas Station IDs, in “Tao Po” this Sunday (December 3). 

Anjo will play the piano, while Robert will play the saxophone as they talk about the story behind the making of the songs starting with the iconic “Star ng Pasko” in 2009, the country’s circumstances at the height of the Yolanda devastation with “Magkasama Tayo sa Kwento ng Pasko” in 2013, and “Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya” during the pandemic in 2020. Bernadette Sembrano meets crochet artist Regine Rosca, who ventured into making complete nativity scenes with cute dolls this holiday season. Regine will also share how her small business sustains their family and helps her in dealing with the challenges in her life. She will also present Bernadette with an early Christmas gift.Meanwhile, Kabayan Noli de Castro features PWD mechanic Juan Briza, who was born without one hand and one foot. Juan will share how he started to take an interest in automotive when he was young up to the process of becoming a mechanic abroad and owning a motorshop.
