Karen and Migs Feature Pinoys Who Own Restaurants in Australia

An inspiring and flavorful Sunday morning awaits viewers as Karen Davila and Migs Bustos visit Australia to get to know three Filipinos who have successfully built their own restaurants in “My Puhunan” this Sunday (September 3).  In Sydney, Karen meets Will Mahusay whose cravings for the Pinoy favorite lechon led him to create “Sydney Cebu Lechon” restaurant that has been in the business since 1991.

Meanwhile in Canberra, Karen chats with Kim Cudia, the owner behind “Lolo and Lola” restaurant. Kim shares that she never imagined that she would have her own restaurant, which started from selling ensaymadas. Over in Melbourne, Migs sits down with Ross Magnaye, owner of “Serai” that was named “Restaurant of the Year” and “Best Casual Dining Venue” of Time Out Magazine. Ross, who also participated in MasterChef Australia, never thought her love for cooking would lead her to become a chef and eventually a restaurant owner in Australia.
