In the realm of music, there are certain artists whose talent and creativity shine brightly, captivating listeners with their unique sound and heartfelt lyrics. Matt Lozano, Voltes V Legacy’s Robert Armstrong, has recently graced the music scene again with his highly anticipated new single, “Liham.” With his soulful vocals, emotive storytelling, and innate musicality, Lozano is ready to make a lasting impact with this mesmerizing release.

In an interview with Kapuso Brigade, Matt revealed that he wrote the song for only 15 minutes during the pandemic and He based it from his own experience.

“Itong kanta na ito, very personal sa akin. I wrote this dahil sa personal experience ko, and this is about people na gustong maka-move on and gustong mas mahalin ang sarili. Itong kanta na ito ay para sa mga gustong magkaroon ng self-love,” he said.

“Liham” is Matt’s third single under GMA Music following “Walang Pipigil” and “Kwarto” which he also wrote himself. He wants it to be personal and relatable at the same time.

“Gusto ko medyo friendly sa masa yung tunog natin ngayon para mas maramdaman nila ‘yung emosyon ng kinakanta ko. Gusto ko rin maging very OPM ‘yung tunog para maka-relate talaga ‘yung mga tao. Alam naman ng lahat na I’m a John Mayer fan and yung single ko na Kwarto is based sa John Mayer feels na paggawa ng kanta but this time I want it to be very personal,” he said.

“Liham,” by the way, debuted at no. 4 on iTunes Philippines Songs Chart after its release last May 19.
