‘Great Men Academy,’ ‘Sing Yesterday for Me,’ and ‘Horimiya’ Now Streaming on POPTV
POPTV Philippines now streams two new animes and one new BL series, uncut and all dubbed in Filipino.
Anime fans are in for a treat as hit 2021 romantic comedy “Horimiya,” and 2020 coming-of-age anime drama series “Sing Yesterday For Me” are now available in the first all Pinoy streaming app.
“Horimiya” follows the story of classmates Hori and Miyamura, who both have different identities presented to their peers at school. A chance encounter accidentally revealed their true selves to each other and the two agreed to keep their other personas a secret. Over time, the two realized that they have a lot in common than they originally thought.
“Sing Yesterday For Me,” meanwhile, tackles the hardships of love and moving on through the stories of Rikuo and Shinako. Rikuo has long been in love with Shinako, but got friendzoned the first time he confessed his love. Now that she is back in town, Rikuo tries his luck again. But will romance bloom if Shinako hasn’t moved on from her past relationship?
As for BL fans, POPTV also has something for you as it streams the Filipino-dubbed “Great Men Academy.”

Will she have a shot at Vier? What if one of the students falls in love with her male self?
